Spiritual Leadership Team Meeting

  The Spiritual Leadership Team is led by the Spiritual Lay Leader.  It is comprised of the lead pastor, staff and primary ministry leaders.  The duties of this team are to ensure focus on Jesus, mission alignment, and fruitfulness in all areas of ministry of the Church and to communicate the ministries to the Board of Trustees.    The current members of the Spiritual Leadership Team are as follows:  Pastor Joseph, Lead Pastor* DeNae Mulzer- Spiritual Lay Leader Sierra Schipp- Director of Discipleship* Jesse Underwood- Director of Worship Ministry* Jenna Souders- Director of Children’s Ministry* Duffy Schultise-Director of Youth Ministry* Stephen Rutherford- Technology Director* Jen Lusk- Women’s Ministry Leader ( Coordinates all women’s planned activities church wide) Lahna Mulzer- Hospitality Ministry Leader  ( Schedules coffeemakers, greeters and Volunteers at Connection Desk) DeeAnn Woolems- Nurture Ministry Leader ( Coordinates food service for  most church events.) Sharon Fischer- Branching Out in Love Ministry Leader ( Coordinates all mission and outreach programs)  Kerragan Englert- Young Adult Ministry Leader ( Coordinates bible studies and social activities for age 20’s to 30))  Mary Helen Brown- Prayer Team Leader  Coordinates all prayer activities within the Prayer Team)  Rick Goffinet- TGIW/Kitchen Coordinator Reid Teaford- Men’s Ministry Leader (Coordinates all men’s planned activities church wide)  DeNae Mulzer- “Shine” Ministry Leader  Coordinates ways in which our church can show light in outreach within our community.   * staff members The team normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall.   Each member of the SLT emails agenda items for their respective ministries to the SL leader.  The leader organizes the agenda items and sends them out collectively to all members prior to the meeting.  All items are discussed in the meeting. Communication among all ministries is advantageous and the key to all ministries functioning to the best ability for the good and success of the spiritual life of the church family.  Our goal is to glorify God in all ways, connecting people of the church family to the ministry each person is called to serve, and to not only serve the life of our immediate church family but to also serve in outreach to our community and even globally. We pray and seek God’s direction in all ministry decisions.  We acknowledge how God is working in each of our ministries and continue to seek him as we develop and grow our ministries.     There are several smaller ministries that are not represented in the major ministries listed above.  For information of all ministries and small groups that exist, inquiries may be made to the Spiritual Lay Leader or the church office.
